"PHILOSOPHY" OF THE PROJECT
The natural landscape of the location gave the main directions for the design:
1. The natural terrain of the plot with gentle slopes.
2. The view north-east.
The total plot size is 1243,30 sq.m. It has north-eastern orientation with panoramic views and is borders with the public road. The land looks like a small plateau with slight slopes.
The two-storey house was designed according to the bioclimatic design criteria. The total building size is 167.14 + 94.33 = 261.47 m2.
The house is located on a sloping ground and consists of basement, ground floor and first floor
The basement size is 50.00 sq.m and it contains utility rooms.
The ground floor size is 167.14 sq.m and it consists of the living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, wc, a bedroom and auxiliary spaces.
The first floor size is 94.33 sq.m. There are three bedrooms, the main bathroom and a laundry room.
A large terrace offers panoramic views mainly to southeast. Large openings, split volumes and the frugal use of colour characterise the project.
The house is equipped with a water feature and swimming pool, respectively 5,90 sq.m & 36,72 sq.m that offer cooling in the hot south-east side.
Respect of the natural terrain combined with the low height of the building creates a harmoniously integrated set in the natural environment.
